Addie got her very own pet today -- a beta fish we have named Dory. (Anyone who has ever seen Addie's favorite movie -- Finding Nemo -- will know where that name is from!)
Dad even let Addie put in the rocks all by herself. Addie managed to get the majority into the fish tank but she left a few out to play with later...
Then she spent time smoothing the rocks out to make an even bottom. And then when they were all nice and smooth -- she decided they all needed to be on one side!
And then she helped dad pour in the water.

Awwwwwwww! Sooooo cute! I love how she splashes her little hand in the water to get the food in there. And her little word-noises...just precious :)
oh my...too cute too cute too cute!!! Behold the circle of life (Dorthy, the beta fish belonging to the girls that I nanny died today. she was quickly replaced before the girls noticed, so it's all good). She is getting so big!
