As the summer is wrapping up, we are doing our darndest to try and find excuses to hang out on the patio and enjoy this gorgeous weather! I love Nebraska in the fall.
Corey had a barbecue for his work to celebrate the end of the summer. Being a seasonal job, the majority of them have been working 10-12+ hour days for the last 2-3 months so they are very excited to be wrapping up the summer and get back to normal hours!
We had fun getting the wives and kids together, and just visitng. Corey has a really nice group of guys he works with, and Addie sure enjoyed having all those kids over to play with! She jumped on the trampoline for 2-3hrs straight and didn't get to bed until almost 10pm (she usually goes to bed at 8am). She slept in till 10am the following day! The latest she has EVER slept in was 8am, so we really enjoyed that!!!
And then Sunday, Addie had her friend Paige come over to play. In moving, we didn't realize that one of our new neighbors would be a little girl Addie goes to preschool with. It has been really nice having a girl she knows living just down the street. And come to find out another little boy she goes to preschool with lives down the block. So I'm sure next summer is going to consist of the kids running back and forth between each others houses :) Can't wait!
