The Children's Zoo

We got Addie a pass to the Children's Zoo for this summer! She has a lot of fun there, especially at Halloween, when we go to Boo at the Zoo!!!


She loves all the creepy-crawlies! She even held a meal worm at one of the interactive booths they have in the insect room. She couldn't convince mom to hold it!


Mom's favorite part is watching the seals -- they do all sorts of fun tricks. And with the walkway you can get about 2-3 feet away from them.


Aren't they cute?!?


This one was having fun sunbathing.


And they have all sorts of peacocks that just roam around the zoo.


Addie had fun watching the white one fluff it's feathers.


They even have a butterfly pavillion!


Addie was more interested in the butterfly bench!




And still she gravitates to the bugs...

And a few (very pathetic/old looking) parrots.


Addie's favorite part is the HUGE sandbox.




And mom enjoyed watching these kangaroo's box.




They have a rope "spider web" that Addie had fun crawling around on.



And even some camels!


This one was hoping to get lunch!


Poor camel didn't get lunch -- mom didn't remember to bring quarters!



Addie sure tried to feed the poor camel, though... Maybe next time!
