Getting "home" for the holidays...

We arrived at my sister's house fairly early that morning (10am-ish) and were greeted by many women bustling around the house! The house was already full of the smells of thanksgiving!

Addie was IMMEDIATELY stolen by her Aunt Jennifer! Who was finally able to coax a smile out of her after being stuck in a plane, and then going through baggage claim!
Aunt Jennifer also recieved one of Addie's prized snuggle hugs :) Not many people have recieved them, and they are mainly reserved for grandparents who smuggle her candy!

We soon had to get all of the sisters together for pictures, Addie still snuggling with Jen. We are FINALLY a predominately midwest family again! Jen is in St. Louis, Melissa is in Columbia, MO, and I'm in Nebraska. The only one that snuck a little south is Sarah -- who is down in a suburb of Atlanta, GA.

It's amazing -- we were somehow able to get the 1 1/2 year old to look at the camera AND smile! But we missed getting her aunt to look at the camera :)

Then Gordon (Jen's father-in-law) decided to steal Addie for some much needed "I wish I was a Grandpa" time. Hint Hint Jen!!!

Like the pic of all 4 of you, plus Miss Addisen, together!

He, he, he - it's funny when you get a kid to look at the camera and that's the one time the adult is not! Cracks me up!

Thanks for sharing your trip!
