Updates

Well, tons to update everyone on, but pretty much everyone already knows! We found out about a week ago that Corey was being offered a promotion with his company, but the promotion also means that we have to relocate to Grand Island. Corey and I are both in awe about how God has worked things out in our life, because we had always talked about moving once I graduated with my RN, and I will be done in September... Well, Corey's transfer is in September!

We are very excited to be closer to family. Addie's cousin, Katie lives in GI and Addie is thrilled at the prospect of seeing Katie on a more regular basis. And I think Katie's parents are thrilled at the idea of free babysitting :)

We are so blessed, and amazed at how things are coming together. And amazed at the sheer amount of STUFF we have accumulated in the 12 years we have lived in Lincoln. Holy cow, how have we lived here for 12 years?!?

We have beein busy going through and sorting out what we can live without for the next three months, and trying to get the "extra" into storage. Corey's grandma lives about 20 minutes south of Grand Island, and has been gracious enough to allow us to use her basement as storage until we find a place in Grand Island. And since Corey has been in Grand Island about once a week since he found out the news, he's been able to transport some of our boxes.

As we get a room cleaned out I have been trying to take pictures, and have started a blog to try and get people to buy it :) If your super bored, it's www.1620sw32.blogspot.com

We met with the realtor that helped us purchase the house, and are planning to list it once we get the house ready. Which hopefully will be in the next week or two, because we've gotta get it sold! The GREAT news is that even though we purchased the home in 2005 right before the housing market crashed and burned, the Lincoln market has stayed fairly stable and we *should* be able to at least break even. Which is a huge relief!

We would definately appreciate your prayers as this is obviously a time of stress and anxiety for our family as we prepare to uproot our family and move an hour and a half away, with new jobs and new daycare and Addie officially starting preschool this fall. And if you have any suggestions, or want to buy a house, please let us know!

Good luck with everything! Moving can be such a nightmare but it sounds like you've already got a head start on things so hopefully it will go very smoothly for you. We're praying for you as you finish up school, put your house on the market, look for a new home, and get ready to make the move!!!
