Headed to San Antonio

We were able to go out to San Antonio to see my mom for Thanksgiving this year! Her nursing home puts on a big thanksgiving dinner the weekend before Thanksgiving, and Addie and I made the trip (along with my 3 sisters) to eat dinner with her.

We had a layover in Dallas, TX where we passed the time by watching movies. We also had the privilege of welcoming soldiers back from Afghanistan at the terminal next to ours. That was neat! Addie had fun waving her flag and cheering as they came of the plane.

It was 10:30 pm when we finally arrived at the cabin where we were staying... Aunt Melissa was there to welcome a sleepy Addie who was wide awake 2 1/2 hours AFTER her bedtime!
