The Mighty Hunters

Corey went home this last weekend to go deerhunting. And man was he sucessful! He called me at noon to make fun of everyone who was "trophy hunting". His brother and his cousin had both seen several smaller deer, but hadn't shot because they wanted a bigger deer. He told them that he was shooting the first thing he saw, irregardless of size....

And this was the first thing he saw!

The only problem was, he shot it in the lungs, so the deer took of running -- in the WRONG direction! Corey said it ran about 100 yards in the opposite direction before it dropped. By the time he had this thing dragged back to the truck, he thought he was going to have a heart attack!

This is Corey and his dad trying to hold up this huge deer! You can kind-of see Corey's brother, Kevin, (the trophy hunter) in the background.
